Mounting personal and financial stresses kept Chris from sleeping. He began to spend those sleepless hours in prayer. One morning he called Life 89.1 as the morning team was getting ready to start their show. Chris told Brian and Laura and their listeners that he had felt that "everything was closing in on him, coming down around him."
Then Chris heard Casting Crowns sing "Who am I that God would be mindful of me..." and those very words spoke the love and care of God into his broken heart. Listeners who heard him called in to offer their own encouragement throughout the morning.
